You wouldn’t let a plumber guess where your pipes leak, so why let a chimney sweep guess about your flue? We use calibrated cameras and moisture meters to document every crack, gap, and creosote buildup in Golden Valley homes, no hand-waving, no assumptions. Our process is built for Minnesota’s freeze-thaw cycles, which turn minor mortar gaps into major draft problems by spring. We don’t just sweep; we measure airflow, check flue tiles, and flag issues before they force you to rip out your masonry. It’s the difference between a quick clean and a costly rebuild, and we make sure you know the difference before you pay for either.
Sunset Chimney Inc started in Golden Valley because we saw too many neighbors burning through cash on half-baked sweeps that left their chimneys dirtier than before. We built our reputation on one principle: if you can’t see the problem, you can’t fix it. That’s why we photograph every inspection and email the report the same day, no waiting, no runaround. Whether it’s a 1950s rambler on Zenith Avenue or a new build off Wirth Parkway, we treat every Golden Valley chimney like it’s our own. No shortcuts, no surprises, just a flue that works when you need it most.
